Cooling tower water quality improvement has been handled by chemical treatment for decades. The treatment is still using worldwide. However, chemical in water keeps concentrating and will reach the unacceptable range. Cooling water has to be drained and added fresh water. The waste water will pollute environment if drained without extra treatment. If extra treatment adopted, cost will be increased, too. At the same time, keeping draining waste water and adding fresh water consume water resource. In the time that environment protection and resource saving become important issues, Magnetic Ball appears. The benefits of using Magnetic Ball are listed below:

◆Prevent new water scale from adhering: after cooling tower water magnetizing by Magnetic Ball, hydrogen bond is broken which leads cation calcium more chance to contact with anion carbonic acid. Therefore, the stability of hard sediment is decreased to form soft muddy sediment which is easy to be cleaned.

◆Divest existing water scale: While magnetized water runs through existing water scale which has adhered on cooling system or pipe, the water will penetrate and soften water scale gradually. After a short period of time, hard water scale becomes soft muddy sediment and drops into water plate.

◆Suppress germs growth: after cooling tower water magnetizing by Magnetic Ball, the characteristic of dipole of water is increased which suppresses germs' growth. The longer Magnetic Ball used, the less germs found.
