Operation:

  • 【Sensor】detects temperature of return air for AHU or return water for fan.

  • 【Controller】receives the data from sensor, compares it with setting, and sends a logic signal to VFD.

  • 【VFD】receives a signal from controller, and uses it as an order to control the speed of motor.

Built-in logic of controller:

  • If the difference between temperature detected and setting is larger than 3°C , motor will run at 60Hz.

  • If the difference between temperature detected and setting is 2~3°C , motor will run at 50~60Hz.

  • If the difference between temperature detected and setting is 1~2°C , motor will run at 40~50Hz.

  • If the difference between temperature detected and setting is 0~1°C, motor will run at 30~40Hz.

  • If the temperature detected is smaller than setting, two options are available, stop or running at the minimum speed.

  • If minimum flow is required, just set the value of minimum frequency.

  • If energy saving is mandated, just set the value of maximum frequency.
